Cookie policy

This document supplements the privacy policy and concerns only cookies and similar technologies used on detectum.pl.

Cookies are small text files your browser stores on your device. The site reads them on later visits — that is how it remembers your choice in the consent banner. They do not run programs and do not carry viruses.

We do not use the approach where measurement scripts load immediately and consent merely limits what they do. Here it works differently: until you click consent, Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel are not fetched from Google's or Meta's servers at all.

In addition, before anything runs we set the default Google Consent Mode v2 signals to „denied” for ad storage, user data, ad personalisation and analytics. Consent raises those signals; withholding or withdrawing it lowers them.

Necessary — always active

Needed for the site to work and to remember your choice in the banner. They cannot be switched off, because without them the banner would ask again on every page.

• detectum_zgoda — stores your choice in the consent banner. First-party cookie, valid 12 months.

Analytics — only with consent

They show which pages are read, for how long, and where visitors come from. We look at the data in aggregate, not to identify an individual.

• Google Tag Manager (container GTM-5QLFZNX) — the tool that launches the other tags. Provider: Google Ireland Limited.
• Google Analytics 4 (G-V6Y5FJDRQS) — visit statistics. Cookies _ga and _ga_*, up to 24 months. Provider: Google Ireland Limited.
• Microsoft Clarity (r8v3m2ayrl) — behaviour analysis: click maps, scroll maps and session recordings, i.e. a record of cursor movement and clicks on the page. Recordings are anonymous and form fields are masked. Cookies _clck and _clsk, up to 12 months. Provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited.

Marketing — only with consent

They let us measure whether an ad brought someone to the site and show relevant content. Without consent ads may still appear, but they are not personalised.

• Meta pixel (Facebook, Instagram) — provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Cookies _fbp and derivatives, typically up to 3 months.
• Google Ads and remarketing (doubleclick.net, google.com/ccm) — measuring advertising performance and building audiences. Cookies _gcl_* and IDE, up to 24 months. Provider: Google Ireland Limited.

The list above reflects the tags actually configured in the Google Tag Manager container as at the date shown at the top of this page. If the container changes, we will update this list as well.

A separate note on session recordings

Microsoft Clarity records how you move around the page — cursor movement, clicks and scrolling. It does not record what you type into form fields: those are masked by the tool before the recording is sent. Recordings are used solely to improve the readability of the site and are not linked to the data you submit through the form. They only start after you consent to analytics cookies.

You can change your choice at any time — no need to dig through browser settings:

• click „Cookie settings” in the footer of any page,
• move the switches next to the categories and save your choice,
• the change applies immediately; if you withdraw consent, the Consent Mode signals return to „denied” and the tools are no longer loaded on subsequent page views.

You can additionally delete previously stored cookies in your browser settings, usually under „Privacy and security”. Note that deleting the detectum_zgoda cookie also erases your saved choice, so the banner will appear again.

Information from analytics and marketing cookies may constitute personal data. The rules for processing it, the recipients and your rights are described in the privacy policy — in particular the section on transfers outside the European Economic Area.
