The DETECTUM Detective Agency was established to address problems faced by individuals in both their private and professional lives. The activities of our private investigators are highly effective, as evidenced by the number of successfully resolved cases brought to completion. We primarily operate in the Tricity area- Gdynia, Sopot, Gdańsk. However, we have branches throughout Poland. We guarantee speed and effectiveness in our operations. Kamil Tosiek- Private Detective
Lawyer, private investigator, and since 2025 a court expert in the field of private investigation and investigative techniques, as well as a court-appointed mediator at the Regional Court in Gdańsk since 2022. Entrepreneur since the age of 18.
I graduated in Law from the University of Administration and Business in Gdynia (WSAiB), completed studies in Investigation and Security at the Higher School of Security and Protection in Warsaw, and obtained a degree in Diplomacy from the University of Administration and Business in Warsaw. I also completed postgraduate studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków in Substantive and Procedural Criminal Law.
In 2025, I intend to begin doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Gdańsk.

My personal interests include personal development, sports, motorcycles, and world history. I possess advanced proficiency in English and communicative proficiency in Spanish, enabling effective communication with international clients.
Court Expert in the Field of Private Investigation and Investigative Techniques
A court expert in private investigation and investigative techniques is a specialist appointed by courts and law enforcement authorities to issue opinions in cases requiring professional expertise related to operational activities, evidence analysis, information-gathering methods, and other aspects of investigative work.
Scope of Competence:
• Analysis of materials and traces obtained during investigative activities detektywistycznych,
• Evaluation of surveillance and observation methods
• Verification of the authenticity of evidence obtained by investigators
• Reconstruction of events based on collected information
• Assessment of compliance of investigative actions with legal regulations, including the Act on Detective Services
The legal basis for the activity of a court expert in Poland is Article 278 § 1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which states:
“If determining circumstances significant for resolving a case requires specialized knowledge, the court or the authority conducting the proceedings shall appoint an expert or experts.”
In the field of private investigation, the Act of 6 July 2001 on Detective Services is also essential, as it regulates the activities of detectives and defines the scope of their rights and responsibilities.
A court expert in this field plays a crucial role in criminal, civil, and commercial proceedings by providing objective and reliable opinions that assist judicial authorities in making informed decisions.
Court expert at the Regional Court in Gdańsk in the field of private investigation and investigative techniques pursuant to Article 157 (Apointment of Court Experts) Law on the Organization of Common Courts.
Preparation of expert opinions regarding investigative documentation and the legitimacy of using investigative techniques in ongoing cases.
I am the only court expert in this field in the Pomeranian region and one of only two in Poland.
